Safety is always our top priority — both for our workers and for the residents of Pardubice. It is equally important for us that the construction itself has as little impact on everyday life in the city as possible. In this section, you will find how we manage safety, equipment operation, noise, dust and other key aspects so that everyone can feel as comfortable as possible even during demanding construction work.

Noise

Noise during construction will be in accordance with applicable hygiene limits and the work schedule will be adhered to. All work is carried out in such a way that it is within the permitted limits and has the least possible impact on the surroundings. Machines and procedures are selected that represent the least possible noise burden for their surroundings. We will place the expected noise sources as far as possible from the existing buildings within the construction site in order to minimize any possible noise discomfort.

Dustiness

Dust levels on the construction site are constantly monitored and in accordance with applicable legislation. We use technologies and processes to reduce dust levels, such as sprinkling and covering materials. Of course, cleaning of equipment leaving the construction site is also carried out to prevent pollution of existing roads.

At the same time, when designing the construction organization plan, the prevailing wind direction in the location was taken into account and dusty operations were located accordingly.

Regular control measurements allow us to keep dust levels within safe limits and minimize the impact on air quality.

Odor

By appropriately handling the excavation, we will minimize any possible emissions of odorous substances. Based on the surveys carried out, we do not expect an excessive occurrence of odor sources that would have to be eliminated.

Work safety

Occupational safety and health protection are a priority for us. During implementation, the principles of occupational safety management are applied and a set of management and control elements is introduced that will enable the elimination or minimization of risks. Occupational safety is ensured by a person professionally qualified in risk prevention. Collective protection and personal protective equipment are ensured. Procedures are in accordance with the Labor Code and other applicable regulations. The developed occupational safety plan and its regular review are an integral part of work procedures.

Operation of construction equipment

The operation of construction equipment is organized to minimize impacts on surrounding traffic, noise, and the environment. Compliance with pre-determined and approved equipment routes is monitored. The goal is to ensure that this operation does not disrupt the normal operation of the city.
